We're a married couple — one of us a physician, the other an MBA — and we started Dosies not long after becoming parents.
If you've had a newborn, you know what happens to taking care of yourself on the priority list. It falls off. Somewhere between the 3 AM feedings and the days that blur together, the vitamins sat unopened in the cabinet, the water bottle stayed empty, and swallowing four different pills started to feel like one more task neither of us had the bandwidth for.
One of us kept asking, half as a doctor and half as an exhausted parent: why does this have to be so hard? The other, with a decade in building and scaling brands, started looking for a better answer than just try harder to remember your vitamins.
The strip format was the answer. No water, no pills to choke down over the sink at midnight, nothing to measure. Just something you can actually stick to when your day isn't yours to plan.
Before anything carried the Dosies name, it went through the same review we'd want for our own family — ingredient panels checked, dosages sanity-checked, nothing added that we wouldn't feel comfortable using ourselves, sleep-deprived or not.
Sleepies, Zoomies, Clarities, and Oopsies came out of that. Each one built for a specific moment in a day that doesn't leave much room for anything complicated. We also wanted a cost effective way to prioritize our health. For example, if you were to buy each component that goes into one of our supplements individually at a health foods store, you'd be set back over double the price! So why not bundle every ingredient that works together to help you in a more cost effective and efficient way? We're not claiming to have reinvented wellness. We just needed something that worked for a life like ours, and figured we probably weren't the only ones.
Cheers,
